Rates
$175.00 per initial 50-minute session.
$125.00 per 50-minute individual or family session.

Other insurance companies, such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, and others may also cover my fees on an "Out of Network" basis, but policies vary and coverage must be determined on a case by case basis. When billing insurance companies for "Out of network" benefits we often ask that patients pay for sessions up front as we go, while we bill the insurance company and have them reimburse the patient directly.
Clients are responsible for all charges. Payment is expected at the time of service unless previously arranged. Insurance claims may be filed (once per claim) as a courtesy to clients. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by calling your insurance company (numbers listed on your insurance card) and asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health/substance abuse benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
- How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network (or in-network) provider?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
If you prefer, you may also give my assistant the demographic and insurance information on your card and she will make the benefits call for you.
Insurance coverage is not required. Many of my clients, for a variety of reasons, are direct self-pay.
Payment
Cash and personal checks are accepted for payment at the time of service. You may also make payments for sessions online on this website with a credit card.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $75.00 late cancellation fee that is not billed to an insurance company.

If you are ready for help and you do not have insurance and have an inability to pay for services, a list of "state supported" local community resources/services will be furnished to you if you send me an email requesting it. Put "community resources" in the RE: section of your email so that my junk mail filters don't lose it.
